Blogging tips

November 2, 2013

Currently November

Did you miss me?

Even though, I've taught Math and Science before changing grade levels and subjects at the same time has kicked my butt. Add my husband's recent hospital visit, and something had to give, my blog.

I've missed blogging and you. Maybe 2nd quarter will be better. Anyway...

OK! This may be a surprise, but I love watching Top Gear. I could care less about the cars, but the three hosts, Adam, Tanner and Rutledge, are funny. Tonight, they made cars amphibious and tried to drive to Canada.

In Texas today, it was a cool 72 degrees with a light breeze. I opened up all the windows, which I almost never do.

During the month of November, I usually do the FB Blessings Countdown. This year, I am even more blessed, because my husband recently had a health scare. He spent nearly a week in the hospital. Fortunately, he is home and recovering now.

A few years ago, we went to New Orleans. The hotel we stayed at had the BEST mattress. I had the most awesome naps there. I want that mattress.

So jealous of all of the teachers who have had a Fall break. We have been going HARD since Labor Day. Our first break is Thanksgiving in 3 weeks. After Thanksgiving, the rest of the year is all down hill, but it is an uphill climb to get there. Right now, we are in the middle of "benchmark season". UGH!

Yummy pin..
.Peanut Butter Crack Brownies
I made these for a teammates birthday. I think the "crack" refers to the Rice Krispies in the topping, but I think it is because they are as addictive as crack. Cut them small! They are very rich!

Check out whatever everyone else is doing over at Farley's Currently party!

  1. Found you at Farley's linky! I love the colours on your blog! We are currently in Spring here in Australia but today it feels like Winter, I am hanging out for some warm weather. I hope your husband is feeling better and is on the mend.
